SYNOPSIS
Ghost Show is a docustyle half hour comedy about an intrepid team of ghost hunters. Think the Office or Parks and Recreation, but with ghosts! 👻
AVAILABLE ROLES
[ZANE] Male. A super handsome – or at least, a guy who truly believes he’s super handsome – host of Ghost Show. Think Zak Baggans of Ghost Adventures fame.
[ASHE] Male. Zane’s second-in-command. Very supportive of Zane and the show. Loveable doofus.
[G] Female. Sarcastic, dry. Very cool. Sort of a punk rock/rebel attitude, but really just wants to do a good job.
[PAT] Male. The intern/boom op. Too big for his britches.
[HOT GIRL] Female. She’s hot. But that’s not all she’s known for! Or rather, not all she wants to BE known for. Comes in as a Ghost Show host.
[MARA] Female. Kind of a space cadet – but loveable. Very astrology girlie, tarot-card-reading-cool-girl.
COMPENSATION: $50 stipend per actor for the full production (1 rehearsal, 1 showing of the staged reading). Non-Union.

HOW TO AUDITION
The first round of auditions is by video.

We will then send you sides we’d like you to read for. Please read the sides and tape your audition. No specific lighting or filming requests — we just want to be able to see and hear you! Being off-book would be great but is not a requirement for the audition.
